October 7, 2016 — Elizabeth (Bridget Fonda, Single White Female) and Kevin (Campbell Scott, The Amazing Spider Man) are happily expectant parents, eagerly waiting for their son, Milo, to be born. Unfortunately, Milo (Anton Yelchin, Star Trek) has other plans.

He has developed a fear of life on Earth and has decided to stay put. No amount of coaxing convinces Milo that he wants to be part of the world he is expected to inhabit.

This is not just an issue for Milo’s parents. In the place that babies come from, babies must be born in the correct order. So if Milo does not permit himself to be born, no other babies can be born.

This could be a problem.

The authorities in heaven decide to allow Elmore Dahl (played by the wonderful Albert Finney, Big Fish, Skyfall), who has always been cranky, nasty and thoughtless, just one day to convince Milo that he really does want to be born. Elmore takes Milo to New York City, a place Elmore has enjoyed in the past. But the nervous child finds it all too overwhelming.

How will Elmore prevent Milo from stopping all future babies? In this family-friendly film Delivering Milo, getting there is the good part.

Delivering Milo is available on DVD and Blu-ray.
