On May 3rd 1902, Mont Pelee, the volcano on the Caribbean Island of Martinique, violetly erupted. In 3 minutes every one of the inhabitants of the town of Saint Pierre had died. Mount Pelee unleashed the deadliest eruption ever recorded, yet one man survived.
