Sometimes Murder Is Easier Than Paying Alimony

June 1, 2017 — He is the typical lady-killer. Except that in Murder So Sweet, the term is used literally.

Steve Caitlin (Harry Hamlin) likes women. He has a roving eye and a tendency to marry. And when his eye wanders during his marriages, his wives divorce him. Charm will only take you so far.

This all means that he has been divorced several times, which amounts to quite a bit of alimony.

So, when two of  his ex-wives die, a third ex (Helen Shaver) gets suspicious.

Based on a true story, Murder So Sweet (also known as Poisoned by Love: The Kern County Murders) has performances by Faith Ford, Eileen Brennan, K.T. Oslin and Ed Lauter.
