The Band “Chicago” Is One Of The Best-Selling Groups Of All Time

July 26, 2017 — The rock band Chicago began in 1967. The self-proclaimed “rock and roll band with horns” didn’t take very long to establish themselves — by 1968 they had signed with Columbia Records.

They would be assigned the enviable task of opening for better-known act like Hendrix and Joplin, but they weren’t second-stringers long. Their first record, a double album, would  sell over a million copies.

From then on, there was no stopping them. They put out hits for the next several decades and became one of the most successful bands in the history of rock. They continue to tour to this day, selling out as many as 100 venues a year.

Now More Than Ever: The History of Chicago details the story of the band’s inexorable rise, and what makes it so popular, 50 years later.

With archive footage of Janis Joplin, Jimi Hendrix, Robin Thicke, Dick Cavett, Clive Davis, Paul Schaffer and many more.

Now More Than Ever: The History of Chicago is available  for pre-order on DOD and Blu-ray, or you can stream it immediately on Amazon Video.
