The Star-Studded Stage Performance of “The Oldest Living Graduate” is Available to Stream

October 25, 2017 —
The final play in renowned playwright Preston Jones’ The Texas Trilogy finds some of the biggest stars of the screen on stage.

Detailing the mild climaxes, family drama and politics of small-town Texas, film icon Henry Fonda stars alongside Academy Award winners Timothy Hutton (Ordinary People, Taps) and Cloris Leachman (The Last Picture Show) in this slow-burning final installment of contemporary American theatre. Kincaid is the oldest living graduate of a local military school, so his son Floyd plans a celebration for his father, hoping to get into his good graces. Unfortunately, this only leaves the crusty patriarch increasingly miserable.

The live performance of The Oldest Living Graduate was filmed and first broadcasted in 1980, and is now available to stream anytime on Amazon Prime.
