The “Spotlight” reporters of The Boston Globe — some of the paper’s most tenacious investigators — look into allegations of abuse within the Catholic Church in Boston. The investigation, which takes a year, uncovers a decade-long cover-up which implicates Boston’s religious, legal and government establishments at their highest levels. A wave of revelations is set off around the world and the Catholic Church is shaken to its core.

Based on actual events, SPOTLIGHT won two Academy Awards®, for Best Picture and Best Writing.
